Radio tx

Post by Steve Norris »

A year or so ago I bought a unbuilt RR armoured car that came with a new Flysky Paladin PL18. I have no knowledge of these transmitters other tan it looks the business. Has anyone used one of these with a Armortek vehicle and if so did it work.

Steve

I've configured all Brian Rees's models with this TX and had no problems.

The thing which catches me out every time is you have to upgrade the firmware on the RX so that it matches the TX. Not difficult, but I can never remember the sequence so have to Google it each time.

Adrian.

I have one of the FlySky Pl18ev Paladins as well. Have yet to use it. Nicely made system. Screen is a bit small but the display
is quite crisp.

One of the selling points at the time was support in the OS for ground based vehicles and that some of the controls were made modular to
support swaps or changes. Also has a novel way of charging using an inductive stand.

I'd be interested in your experience with this system.
