Hi Matt, thanks for posting the clip, did I see a fleeting glimpse of a Berlin Chieftain? Are there anymore clips showing the cold war beast? 8)

Hi John,

Yes I believe there was a Berlin Chieftain with the SAG. Unfortunately I don’t have any more clips. I was too busy trundling my Tiger around.

Hi Matt,
Like your film. See a huge tank transporter during 1:10 to 1:38. Is it 1/6 scale? Who has built it? Any more footage and/or photo?

There were two 1/6 scale tank transporters at TankFest, both scratch built by Southern Armour Group members (who are also members of the Armortek fraternity): a Diamond T, and the Mighty Antar. Both stunning models.
Mark IV (Liesel, Abteilung 14, France 1918)
M3 Lee (25 Dragoons, Burma 1944)
Universal Carrier (2/Wiltshires, Italy 1944)
Panther (Deserter, 145 RAC, Italy 1944)
Centurion Mk 3 (8KRIH, Korea 1950/51)
Morris Quad, 25-pdr & limber (45RA, Korea 1951)

Yes! Scratch built and Mighty! Even King Tiger riding on it looks not that big.
Knew Armortek will have no willing to release this kind of vehicle. That's how exciting to see one in event.
