Hi everyone, I hope I'm in the right forum to seek help please? I am an experienced modeller (RC Planes) but this is my first Armortek Tank. I have all the option packs of my New Panther G plugged up on the bench for testing. I cannot get the main drive motors to work at all they are totally dead. I am using a Sanwa SD-10G Radio and I have also tried my old Futaba T6EX. All the other options work perfectly, sound accel/decel turn, turret turn and elevation, but no matter which channel I connect the Motion Control A to, the main drive motors don't move. I have connected the turret turn to all the stick channels and they work fine. I have checked the output of Motor Control A and there is no voltage on either drive when I move the Sticks. Battery voltage on the Power module is currently 90% 25.6v
Sorry for the long rambling message but I'm a bit stuck and would welcome any advice on what to do or what may the issue.
Many thanks
Marty

HI Marty,
you should put the motion pack version you have,
over time, 3 or 4 different versions have come out, maybe post a photo,
so we can help you
I have a second version and inside the distributor / ignition group, there are fuses and if I remember correctly also inside the esc.

Re: Can you Help me please - Motion Pack Drive Motors
Hi Mark, yes all the modules are plugged up as per the Manual and I have 25.6v Output from the power module.
Hi Marco, I've attached a couple of pictures of my Option pack set up on the bench. As I said, everything works except for the Main Drive Motors from Motor Control A Module.
I have read a lot in the other threads on the subject of RC Tx/Rx compatibility for Armortek Modules. As all the other motor and sound functions work I thought that my RC was going to be OK but maybe it isn't? My thoughts are that I have either got an RC issue or the Motor Control A Module is not working. These modules are all plug and play so there is nothing to set up or adjust.
Thanks - Marty

Pls check the servo cable from audio to recoil. Does the middle (red) wire have a black sleve (heat shrink sleve) at one end on top?
Cheers
Peter

A bunch of Tiger and Panther variants, Leo II, Famo, 222s, a few 88`s and smaler ones like Hetzer, Stug III, 251, etc.

Re: Can you Help me please - Motion Pack Drive Motors
Hi Peter, I don' have the recoil module connected but the turret and elevation servo leads both have a sleeve on the red centre connection and these functions both work perfectly. I have gone back to the original basic setup with just the Main Drive motors connected as per photo. Nothing happens when I move the sticks, the motors are silent.
Thanks - Marty

Hi Marty
Have you tried connecting the motors direct to the battery ?
However it sounds to me like you might have a faulty unit A.
Worth phoning Kian directly.
Regards Derek

Re: Can you Help me please - Motion Pack Drive Motors
as Derek advised you,
test if the motors work,
you can connect them to a single battery,
so they won't run at maximum,
check if the correct voltage comes out of the ignition module,
I saw that you connected the engine controller directly to the receiver,
is the receiver powered by the esc?
if everything is still under warranty, contact armortek support
