Morris Quad reissue??

Post by John M. Lyle »

Will the Morris Quad be reissued at some point in the future. The first time around I did not have the funds to purchase it Now I do. I have the limber and the 25 pdr and would like a towing vehicle to go with them. Would the universal carrier be suitable as a towing vehicle?

In terms of Armortek models, I’m sure that a Universal Carrier would pull a limber and 25-pdr combination. But, historically, the U/C just wouldn’t have coped - too heavy a load.
You could try advertising for a Quad on the ‘Wanted and for sale’ section of this forum ….

Good luck,

I agree with Chris, my universal carrier will pull the 25pdr and limber but looks 'wrong', I was lucky enough to buy a quad from this 'Wanted and for Sale' section a few months ago.
