Good News for US Customers

Post by Armortek »

I have just checked the exchange rate and the dollar is now higher than I have seen it since we have been running Armortek!

At around 1.62 dollars to the pound, £1000 pounds will now cost you about $1620 dollars as opposed to over $2000 not so long ago when the rate was over 2 dollars to the pound.

As an example at today’s exchange rate a King Tiger kit with delivery would cost approximately $6147 as opposed to over $7590 when at 2 to dollars to the pound. Thus saving $1,443!

So looks like a good time to get your orders in!

This will not offset the cost of my divorce if another tank should appear in the garage. Still.

I observe how the US dollar started to gain strength only well after my Tiger I with all its pieces parts were paid for and delivered. Did I mention shipping prices have dropped since too?

Would I be paranoid to consider this might be some internationally coordinated conspiracy by the world banks and markets designed to make me look even more ridiculous to my wife?

I've been checking this rate almost daily Gill. Its now $1.58 since your post. Im betting we see 1.50 in the next 2 weeks. Ill be ordering the motors for my Panther before this is over.
Maybe you should post somewhere on the site what models you still have in stock.
