blank firing unit..wiring problem

I cant seem to understand the instructions..it says to place a wire to the common insert on the switch unit..whats the common?
does anyone have a picture how it gets wired up..i have two blue wires from the power loom and a red & black for the firing loom..any suggestions? do any of the wires get doubled up?
