Hope fully this time you should see a couple of shots of my completed chassis.
I have pinned the King pins, pivot blocks and hubs to make them more secure and i have also added sleeving to the cup joints to prevent the drive pins from dropping out.
Now i have worked out how to post

i will put some shots of the work done on the upper hull on here soon.
Regards
Steve

Steve,
First rate work, just like on your Panther. That is one tough looking chassis! It looks like a stout little bugger.

Good looking chassis Steve
Are the levers etc on the chassis rail part of the kit or have you scratch built them
Adrian.

Robert.
Your right it weighs a ton

. Its a real handful with the body on and should put me in traction for a month if i try to lift it when completed.
Adrian.
The levers are not supplied but are easy to scratch build if you have suitable reference material.
here,s a few more images of the chassis and partly completed body.
I will post more images of the work done on the gun assy soon.
Regards
Steve

Steve,
Very nice looking work on this model, and lots of extra details. Its the first time I've seen the chassis without the body on. Are you going to run the model? If so are you going to try and sort out the traction issues with the diffs?

Allan,
Yes it will be a runner. I have filled the centre diff with un-mixed Milliput (one half of the two part mix), this allows the diff to turn with a lot of effort applied. I will not know how successful this is untill i run it, but at least it can be stripped and cleaned if it dosent work. If someone wants to try this method on there runner and let me know how they went on it would be appreciated.

Hi Steve
Outstanding work! It's really nice to see another build on the forum. Your Panther and the 222 will make a nice pair. Do you have any others in line? A PIII or King Tiger perhaps?
Keep up the great work
Kind regards
Tim

I love the catch detailing on the stowage boxes.
Are they cut-and-filed or etched
Adrian.

Tim.
I fancy getting a PIII to go with the 222 but would have to sell the Panther to afford it, Difficult decision to make
Adrian.
The catches are all cut and filed
