King Tiger 2019- Twin Smokers

Post by Tom Wittstock »

All, when running the twin smokers I notice that one smoker puts out a noticeable more smoke compared to the other smoker...Both batteries are fully charged.... Is this typical or can this be corrected some how....... :|

Thanks Tom....

PS: Could it be that one heating element is running hotter than the other and that just how it is?? 8)

Maybe put some form of tap in the heavier smoker line and use that to balance the exhausts smoke.

Check that the elements are in the housings correctly.

The way the wadding is wrapped around the element can affect the airflow, as can the level of the fluid - both too much and too little.

Adrian.

Hello Bryan and Adrian, I noticed the the matting on the good smoker was not wrapped as tight as the bad smoker was so I put new matting on and did not wrap it as tight and it improved at least 98%........Both smokers appear equal........ :D
