Looking for Tiger 1 cupola (Closed now)

Post by Chang »

Hi all,
I am looking for Tiger 1's cupola with grooves for insertion of the periscope covers.
Due to unknown reason, the cupola (CE0476) of only 2007 Tiger 1 hasn't got groove at all.

Any Tiger 1 owner may have got a spare one wish to sell or swap with this CE0476 ?
I'll be happy to pay the full price or price gap.

Hi Chang.

A well equipped work shop could easily cut those grooves for you.

That might be a quick and cheaper option 😉

Thanks Yves, David, and Søren for all useful information provided.

Can't cut it myself, I hope a good news from David soon. Meanwhile, I am also thinking of buying a new one from Armortek, or asking for Liam Mahoney's help.

Any good news from any one, is still welcome.

Regards,

After nearly a year of slow building, these are few pictures. Not a skilful works I'm afraid.

(A) Tank is loading with turret, two motors, and two 12V, 26Ahs batteries, sitting on it's own suspensions, and are reflect the extra weight now.

(B) Motors are from my previous 2009 King Tiger, which now swapped with this Tiger 1 from Liam Mahoney. Steel tracks are also from Liam.

(C) The Kwk36 88mm gun barrel & muzzle brake are from Jack Hrovatin, but according Jack, was made by Pete Fertle.

Don't worry about the suspension being slightly to high Chang, that will no doubt settle to the correct height over time.
Looking great!
