As many of you noticed, our website and forum went down on Thursday night/ Friday morning. - apparently there was a server failure that then led to a whole bunch of files being corrupted.
On Friday the technical team started migrating our data to a shiny new server, but as always these things never go smoothly and nor to plan. None of the data from the "old" server could be recovered, but fortunately we have regular backups, so we don't think any data was lost. The last post that we recovered was from very early in the morning on Friday, so that would indicate nothing was lost.
By Sunday lunchtime, after the last configuration changes were made on the server, the website and forum came back up fully operational. There is still some behind the scenes work to do, but all testing has been completed and we are fully up and running.
If you continue to experience and issues with our website or forum, then you need to clear the cookies on your browser because the issue is probably on your end.
And we are back (website and forum)

Isn't there always? You know server farm people, web myrmidons, programming wizards and Network folks (we 'program wires') - a shifty lot.
(I played a programmer in 'real life').
