Speaker Wires.

Post by Tom Wittstock »

Question, I'm installing two Satellite Bose Speakers. They require a negative and positive hook up. The connection wires from Armortek are color coded White and Blue. Does anyone know which wire is negative and which one is positive? Many thanks....Tom

Does not matter as long as you keep the same polarity on both speakers 😉

The actual polarity doesn't matter but you need to take into consideration how the speakers are positioned.

If they're pointing the same way, then connect them the same.

If they're pointing towards or away from each other then they need to be wired opposite to each other.

You'll tell from the sound quality and whether you get dead spots when you move your head as to whether you have it right.
