The Militracks event at the Oorlogsmuseum in the Netherlands (https://www.oorlogsmuseum.nl/en/events/militracks/) is a unique event with the public offered the chance to ride everything from a Famo to a Kettenkrad - along with several unique vehicles on display as well as running around their circuit.

Having been cancelled last year due to the pandemic, the museum is planning to hold the event again on the 14/15 MAY 2022.

Armortek will have a large running area at the event this year and customers are invited to bring their models along for a unique experience

ENGLISH
Ladies and gentlemen,
War belongs in the museum!

At the moment, the Western world is faced with the bizarre situation of a sovereign state in Europe being attacked. This situation is recognizable from the history of the 20th century. And as a museum, that is exactly what we want to draw the attention of contemporary generations to.

There is great indignation, not only about the Russian attack, but also about the reticent Western action so far, as far as I am concerned. In that light, I once again wondered whether Militracks should continue in May. Can we, and do we want to, organize a military-technical event given the current situation in Ukraine?

Nevertheless, we have known each other for a long time and we know that we are organizing the event out of a technical interest in our vehicles – and not for the political views of the German regime during the war years. Assuming that, after Covid, many people would like to come and watch an event like Militracks again, we have made the decision to let Militracks continue. So in 11 weeks, on May 14 and 15, we will open the gates to the public for the 11th edition of Militracks.

And the museum will donate all net proceeds from the Militracks ride to accredited support funds for the reception of Ukrainian refugees. That way we can, together, help a little bit (extra) in this exceptional situation.

DEUTSCH

Hi all,
I have been asked if it is possible to drive a Parade on Millitracks.
The good news is….yes we can…. It will be announced in the program book at 1500u both days.
The plan is to drive from Armortek Hill over the Bailey Bridge and back. This event may take max 30 min.
Armortek Hill it self is a large running area.

Looking forwards to the event - probably the largest display of running WW2 armour. Now with the added bonus of some 1:6 scale armour :-)

Getting the Hetzer ready for Militracks.

Wish you all well for the weekend, good weather & good running.
Would have loved to come down from Germany with a model or two but my personal circumstances do not allow it at the moment.
My wife died at the end of November last year and I am still trying to get my life back into some semblance of order.
Shift work due to Covid, and also having a dog which I will not get rid off, have not been conducive.
I hope to attend Militracks 2023.
