Working on the frontal armour I thought it was a good time to make the barrel lock/steady, as the kit one is a bit plain and non functional, still a few adjustments and the bottom brackets to make

Your too kind Simon, bit more done, both spades made and fitted, toying with making the rear Notek convoy light, the hinge barrels for the folding flap are less than a mm so a bit fiddly, the rest is quite straight forward, should be able to fit a light, battery could be housed in one of the boxes on the trail

Well I managed to make the hinges on the Notek convoy light, now I know it works I can clean the metal work and paint it, that’s enough playing around, back to the build next

Still playing around with the convoy light, I made the two metal storage/tool boxes and fitted them to the trails, as I had already put bulbs in the Notek, I used one of the boxes for a 9v battery and switch, the cable will be routed through a metal conduit on the bottom of the trail

Thanks Simon always appreciated, I had to replace a couple of items on the trails, first was straight forward the three cups for the ranging poles, the other was the retaining catch for the towing arm, as I wanted this to be functional it meant reducing the length of the towing arm, all done, next is the gun platform

Well I was going to start the shield and gun platform, but looking at the towing arm I shortened yesterday, it was not good, so made a new one in steel and brass

I put some of the sub assemblies together to check if it fits ok, still needs fettling on the rear barrel lock bar, or I move the hinges backwards, also need to reduce the thickness where the end of the trails join
