please could anyone show me where the exhaust(s) are on a landing craft ?

Might be an idea to look up "wet exhausts".

Two of the vessels I drove/helmed until recently had them. Usually set just above the waterline.

I can post a photo or two of the outlets if that helps.

I hope these pictures help, the top one is the beached former Totnes Castle, build 1949. Her sister vessel was involved in the Dunkirk Evacuation as Devon Belle. The other photo is from the plans of the Trumpeter 1/35 kit. I feel fairly safe to suggest the higher sets of holes are the bilge pump outlets.

Without wishing to muddy the waters too much, the position of the exhaust(s) is likely to vary depending on the variant or era of landing craft you are looking at.

On the LCM3, subject of the Trumpeter kit, I believe that the exhaust is just above the waterline in line with the rear of the triangular aft lifting plate. You can just make it out in this photo, a rectangular hole also emitting engine cooling water. I think the 3 small round holes higher up on Charles’ drawing may all be bilge pump outlets.
This is “Herm Seahorse”, a local cargo boat serving the small Channel Island of Herm. Admittedly a modern build (1989) but you can see the combined exhaust and engine cooling water outlet in the middle of the transom, protected by a flap.
The famous WW2 Higgins Boat (LCVP) also had a transom exhaust.
