MILITRACKS 2021

Post by Armortek »

The Militracks event at the Oorlogsmuseum in the Netherlands (https://www.oorlogsmuseum.nl/en/events/militracks/) is a unique event with the public offered the chance to ride everything from a Famo to a Kettenkrad - along with several unique vehicles on display as well as running around their circuit.

Having been cancelled last year due to the pandemic, the museum is planning to hold the event again on the 25/26 September 2021.

Armortek will have a large running area at the event this year and customers are invited to bring their models along for a unique experience ... and possibly be part of something big ... details to follow.

If you are interested in going, the Armortek running area is being organised by Kees van Rijswijk. You can either contact him via private message on this forum or by email at k.v.rijswijk@hotmail.com or on +31 6 55335266

We just bought tickets, looking forward tot this! This is my first post here. After following builds of Armortek tanks on this forum and on YouTube I ordered a Sherman Easy Eight. They will start sending these to customers starting next week! The Sherman will not be ready for Militracks this year :) but we are looking forward to meeting fellow builders.

Armortek Hill……
During Militracks we will have a large running area. With some nice climbing paths.
The hill will be called … Armortek Hill. This name will be used in the folders.
Some impressions of the running area.
During Militracks the hill will be cleaned up from a lot of vegetation.
Kind regards Kees

Kees, I've had a camp site booked and cancelled for two years running. Maybe next year it will be third time lucky. Looks as though you will have a great time and a running area which will be fun to drive. All that and some real armour too. Please let us have a report of your Armortek team, so that we can enjoy the experience remotely.

Best regards

Stephen

Good luck with the Armortek element of the event Kees.
I have been to Overloon twice and it is a superb museum and site.
I have not yet made it to Militracks but this is at the top of my bucket list.

Cheers
