2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

2021 Late Tiger 1 - development and production

Post by Armortek »

Those of you that follow the factory diary will have see that we are making a few changes to the Late variant Tiger 1 that will be shipping later this summer.

In total there are 27 changes that we are pushing through.

There range from some minor changes like slotting holes to make assembly a little easier, or tweaking the position of some parts on the deck to more substantial changes, or changing the assembly of the drive case.

The most noticeable changes will be:
- Modified hub caps

- Modified roof vent and close defence weapon
Tiger 1 roof.PNG
- Elevation mechanism changed from lead screw to linear actuator

- Slip ring to provide continuous 360 turret rotation

Photos will follow on this thread as we build up the Tiger 1. Our process is a little different as we do not need to prototype the tank - all we have to do is validate the production parts and we build our Validation Build.
