Sprocket Teeth

Hi All,
The assembly manual for the Tiger 1 (and I assume for other models) suggests chamfering the teeth on the sprocket rings. I have a mini-lathe and was wondering if that would be a good thing to use. I am concerned about 'shock' loading the tool as each tooth passes the cutting face. I would appreciate some guidance. Many thanks,

Alastair

Hi Alastair
Thats exactly what I did on my Ferdinand build light taking cuts.
8 sprocket rings done in about an hour inside and outside faces.

Thanks Derek. Good to know it is a feasible approach.
