Universal Carrier Update Sets

Post by Dave Dibb (Armorpax) »

Hi All,

I had hoped to publish the Universal Carrier set prices today but just ran out of time to work it all out. I will get this done in the week and for now at least you can see how the sets will be offered.

Best regards

Dave

Hi All,

Full price breakdown excluding the Chore horse which I still need to make. The first block of parts I believe represent the Armortek set some of you already have.

I have included everything that can be used on the carrier but what you need like the mag bags depends on what variant you are building. The standard stowage diagrams suggest 8 off these stowed at the vehicle commanders discretion on the Scout vehicle I am doing. I have included the British tow hitch as I have used it on mine for the detail but if you plan on towing I would stick with the Armortek machined one.

To order just send us a list of any extra sets and parts you would like with the main set to armorpaxonesixth@gmail.com and a £25.00 deposit to secure your order. Payment can be by Paypal to sales@armorpax.com or if you wish to use Bank transfer contact us for bank details.

We will start casting sets in just over a weeks time and will complete them in the order they come in so depending on order levels there may be a bit of a wait. I'm currently getting dragged all over the place in the day job which isn't helping. We will of course get them out as quickly as we can. Once the sets are ready we will advise balance to pay with shipping at cost. I dare not confirm exact postage costs at present as prices to the US as an example seem to be rising almost weekly.

Dave

Awesome work as usual. A couple of questions if I may.

Does the wireless set 19 come with decals/labels?

Will I have to remove the upper front assembly to fit the driving compartment floor?

Thanks in anticipation.

Mick

Hi Mick,

I think you'll struggle to get it in without removing the front plate, in addition you won't be able to get to the pedals etc to set up. I have some self adhesive printed labels for the No19 sets but I have been advised I have been sent 14 sets of the originals from Panzerwerks stock. These may be reprinted in the US as they have the original artwork and if not I will try and get done but they may take a while.

Question for all of you, I have not included brass rod, aluminium tube or whatever for the steering links. Are you all happy to source your own or do you want me to buy it in and offer. Just trying to avoid you paying my mark up on something easy to source. I can do a size and cutting list in the instructions?

Best regards,

Dave

Thanks Dave

I thought I would have to remove the front plate. Never mind. Looking at the set it will be worth the effort.

I’m happy to source brass and aluminium myself. An order will winging its way to you shortly.

Many Thanks.

Hi All,

These are the simple self adhesive markings for the No 19 set I've done until I could hopefully get proper decals sorted.

Best regards
