Universal Carrier 5

Post by Adrian Harris »

Whilst the fire cement on my hastily repaired wood burner dries off, I've been making a start on the hull.

On Page 12, the instructions call for the front of the side plate should be held on with 2 x M3x8 CSK screws, but the top holes on my plates haven't been countersunk, so they will need a quick trip to the pillar drill.

Also, don't tighten up the 2 x M3x8 BUTT screws on each of the rear engine deck, as you'll need to adjust the angle of this deck to get the rear plate mounting holes to align. All goes together nicely once all the screws are in but I didn't want anyone to be Loctiting things as they go
