Gents, i have a Mid Tiger 1 that i purchased partial assembled, me being a bit of a fiddler had to undo every nut and bolt and start again.
the turret ring (brass 2 pc) supplied is a mess, buckled and twisted and will not fit or sit flat.
originally a straight strip bent into shape, natural stresses to material has twisted beyond where i think it can be used.
so looking to machine a new on from one pc.
1st question, do any of you have the exact dimensions for the ring ? guess I can take the existing strip and measure but would prefer to go with dimensions proven if available.
2nd question is the Feifel system on a mid tiger, is this standard or an add on to some variants, how would i know to fit, or not to fit.
i'm sure i will have more questions and hope I can ask the experts here, some fabulous builds and detailing guys, I can only hope to meet the standards here.
Martin.

Re: Turret Ring
This is a useful chronology of the changes to the Tiger.

With regards to the turret ring, I would seriously consider replacing the brass strip system with the 'lazy susan' bearings used in the current kits. There is some pain involved, due to the different ring gear needed but they're not that difficult to CAD up and have laser/waterjet cut, or you could order direct from Armortek.
