Jagdpanther no 13
Hi,
This tank has defanatly been around the block a few times, I can remember when David pengelly owned it....three careful previous owners with full service history....no such luck, but I'm surprised at how well this model has fared, a testament to Armortek and previous owners.
Thinking back to when David Pengelly owned, I can remember this being mentioned in the for sale add.
if you are looking for a presitine tank in parade condition , then this is not the tank for you ...he wasn't joking
My plan is to pull this back to a good standard, replace the tracks upgrade the exhaust and bump stops replace tools with a mixture of Steve Winstone & Tim Catton.
Regards
David

Labour of love Dave, i remember Dave Pengelly owning this vehicle, he loved to drive his models, the Tank looks semi- real sat on the work bench with the wheels off, all the different colours on the hull, regards simon.

Hi Simon,
It certainly is - the jagdpanther is a great looker, I'm surprised Panthers and jagdpanthers are not more popular.

David

That's some serious referb, Back to a Bundle of bit's, surprising how rusty it became between the suspension rails, getting wet no doubt and staying wet, interesting build thread Dave, regards Simon.

Hi Simon,
Some primer between the suspension rails and the floor would help prevent this corrosion. This is often overlooked - check out my Tiger refurbish
Cheers
