Hello,
I have a question about white metal,
the small tow cable of my panther is broken ( one of the ends )
Is there a solution to fix that?
Best regards Yves

Some very carrefull 2 componend epoxy glue could do the trick. But for the rest white metal is not very fixable

Who made the cables? If you contact the manufacturer they should be able to supply a replacement end

Yves, if you're careful, you can successfully solder white metal. Use a low temperature solder, plenty of flux and an iron set to below 200 deg C. Don't hold the iron on the metal for too long or you can melt the whole thing. If you can, use a heat sink such as a G clamp to protect the part you don't want heated.

That a "nice to know" Stephen, Thanks.
Don't know where you can get hold of asbestos finger ends do you, that last lot of soldering I did was hot hot hot!
