2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Early or mid ? Tiger 1 build by Phil Woollard

Post by Phil Woollard »

Whilst waiting for parts to arrive to complete the Chieftain I have started on a Tiger 1 that's going to be made up of all my favorite parts, you will get the idea as the build goes along. 8)

I do still need an early cupola if anyone has a spare, I do have a mid for trade if required?

Not sure how long I shall spend building her as I have the RR and a Stug coming soon from Phil Dawe which will keep me busy.

If your building one of the real early made kits don't use the cast suspension arm of you will never and I mean never get the thing to run smooth, these are the newer machined arms and they are square and true!

A mm or so turned away to not only "true up" the casting but also to allow more clearance between the opposing axles. This should help stop the outer wheel being "spun" backwards whilst traversing very uneven ground, the real thing also suffered from this!

323 from the 503rd heavy? Good choice! :D

You have developed a good feel for what details make a difference and what to skip. The wheel bolts really do stand out! Awesome! :D

However, you really do need to get better idlers for this quality level, but I have a hunch that they are already in the pipeline?
If not, Liam in Australia can help you out with idlers second to none! :D
