Re: Yves Stug III update
You are having a good start Yves
What have you used to secure the brass bushings
I gave some loctite 638, but don't know if that is strong enough

We use 638 - it is strong enough .. and if you ever need to get the parts apart again, you can gently loosen the adhesive with heat from a heat gun or your favourite hair dryer.Steen Vøler wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 3:21 pmI gave some loctite 638, but don't know if that is strong enough

Hi Yves,
Looks like you made a good start there, the weekend is being spent well!
I started mine also but currently doing a dry fit to familiarize myself with the model since it’s my first build.
I see you already started with priming the parts as well, enjoy your build

Hello Steen,
I use Loctite nr 648 for the bushes or cilinders
Loctite nr 243 soft for bolts
Loctite nr 2701 strong for the shafts
Locitie nr 480 to put the rubber rings on the wheels
Hope this helps you
Best regards Yves
