I have remade the lever and linkage that operates the bogie's securing hooks, and the lever operated bolt, the first pictures shows the lever before changing

More nice work on these boggies, the detail is bringing them to life. I think I am going to have to park the Sherman build for a couple weeks while I paint the outside of the house. I've been waiting for good weather but I don't think we are going to get guarrantteed dry weather this summer!! Anyway I did a days painting of the stonework at the rear of the house today then tried to do some detail work on the Sherman bt my arms were aching and also shaking, so no good!!!

Hi Allan, I do not like the sound of all that hard work ,and not even on the Sherman, where will it end, only joking; the weather has been awful this year for work outside, but good for modeling, will you be going the the Military Odyssey this weekend, I will be there on Saturday

Jeff,

I shall have to give it a miss as I'm likely to be up a ladder on Saturday and I'm supposed to be in a clay shooting match Sunday, but the way my arms feel I don't think I'll be able to lift the gun let alone hit anything. It just goes to show how unfit we get working in an office staring at computers all day.
