2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

There are no set dates for releases they are announced as and when, it may be best to place a request with Armortek themselves just incase an order is cancelled or place a request in the sales section you never know what might turn up.

Whatever you do don't give up and go and buy from someone else. I made that mistake. What a mistake. Post a Buy ad or keep saving the money and wait till ARMORTEK offers it again or an improved one.

In my mind there is no other, I can wait, from looking at Armorteks history an average of x2 kits a year are released so maybe something in 2020 will really catch my eye.

Apparently Armortek spent a day at Bovvi researching for a future model.I think they have left some clues:

The model will be lurking some where in the museum.
It will not be a re run of older models.
It will not be something obscure as they might not sell well.

So what we got left? A Churchill perhaps? :D

There are probably a couple of hundred different tanks in the Museum, the VCC, and scattered around outside .......

Why shouldn't it be something last released years ago, like a Sherman or a Pz. IV ?

I'll go along with the 'obscure' guess, though - the company needs to stay profitable by selling all its stock.

To misquote the Borg: "ill-informed guesswork is futile".

Best to sit back with a beer and a good book and wait. I'd guess that Kian will announce the 2020 range around Christmas time, giving potential customers some time to save up, finish current projects etc.

I think it will not be a re run of older models because Armortek would not need to research for models they have already made.but knowing me I would probably be wrong😚

Remember that Armortek 'now' is different to Armortek 'then'. New owners (Kian and Monique rather than Mark and Gill) but, most importantly, new technology and procedures.

I'm reliably informed that the most recent Pz.III was a completely new model from the previous incarnation, as was Tiger 1. The new King Tiger will be an evolution from the old one - new wheels, for a start. And new electrics coming in August.

Change is a constant, as they say ....... :)

Maybe a Crusader.

Quite a good looking tank if I say so myself and would go with my Grant.

I would suggest that Kian & Monique are listening to us builders and are willing to build what we want as long as they know it will sell.

See FAMO - people screaming out for it and willing to put their money where there mouth is. Armortek did it.

See Chieftain - people screaming out for it and willing to put their money where there mouth is. Armortek did it.
Monique, correct me if I am wrong, but within 2 weeks of it being announced, the whole production run was reserved and deposits paid, and there is a huge waiting list of people ready to jump in if someone backs out.

Knowing the kits are basically "pre-sold" they can adventure into other goodies and experiment - See Bailey bridge and hedgehog.

Personally I would like a Pz II Luchs or Sd.Kfz.234/1 Puma, the Luchs would make a very nice addition to the range plus its small and would appeal to people as a second model especially if they are restricted on space.

If Armortek are going to build another modern tank then by far the best sales wise could only be a Leopard it wouldn't matter which version it would sell regardless and would appeal to a wide range of our European Kameraden.

Time will tell which model comes after the Tiger II but I suspect given that the Tiger II is due to sent out to customers at the end of the year an announcement may happen in September/October but this is purley a guess.

I’ve cracked it. One sixth but not a tank at all, although note the Tiger 1 in the background. Sorry Kian.....

I'd love to see a Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H, (but not for 3 years at least, else the wife murder me).
