2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Survey Results

Post by Armortek »

First off – many, many thanks to those of you that too part in the survey. We were/ are overwhelmed with the responses – almost 500 people from 44 different countries provided their input over a 3 day period and many of you took the time to provide us with some detailed and valuable feedback.
It has taken us a little time to process all the responses, but here we go:

We asked, “How likely is it that you would recommend Armortek to a friend or colleague?”

This sort of question is used to give a Net Promoter Score rating. Net Promoter Score (NPS) is used to give an indication of a customer’s loyalty/ relationship to the company - and, whilst not the be-all-and-end-all, it has been used by leading companies for over 15 years.

In short, people rate the answer on a scale of 1 to 10.
People who rate 1 to 6 are called detractors, 7 & 8 are passive, and 9 & 10 are promoters.
The result is then scored on scale of -100 to +100.

Generally, anything above zero is positive and +50 is considered to be an excellent result.

You scored us +73 !

Thank you also for the comments and context that you provided for the answers. What made this especially rewarding for us is that over 75% of the survey respondents were existing Armortek customers. In fact, if we remove the results of those that indicated they were not customers, the results went up.

We also asked “What do you enjoy about Armortek models?”

The choices were “Engineering/ Building”, “Painting & Detailing”, “Running RC models”, “Historical Context” and the “Social side” – with an opportunity to provide comments.
Unsurprisingly perhaps, the majority of people enjoyed the engineering/ building challenge, but there were also quite a few of you that enjoyed the painting & detailing aspect as well as the social meetups/ community.

Finally, from your perspective, perhaps the most interesting questions of them all – “What 1:6 scale model would you like to see Armortek make in 2019 ?” …..

Unfortunately, we cannot give too much away here. We know that some companies look at what we do and try to copy/ get a head start (as we saw earlier this year,) so we are loathed to give too much away.
What we will say is that the results were very close – there was no standout winner – which, given the number of responses was a real surprise.
What we can also say is that the result has influenced 2 models that that we make in 2019 – and we can also say that possibly/ maybe/ potentially a couple of the models on the list were already planned 😊

Sorry we cannot say more at this stage, but we would like to sincerely thank all of you for your participation and for your kind words. A great high as we look to wind up 2018 !

I somehow missed the results (but did the survey!)

What a great result!

Hard to believe that 2 percent of people were detractors? Well, in 500 respondents that's, what, 10? Bet they are Russian Bots.

Great work Kian and team!!!! There is so much to love about this community. No the least of which is the products that brought us all together.

Cheers,

RPR
