Just finished one of the wheels and the engine, thanks to Robert Reid for the detailed photos.
The spokes were attached using a combination of solder and two part epoxy resin. To help fit the tyre I first heated it in very warm water and it slipped on without any problems.

Later today, I'll try and post some more chassis pictures. The Alpine Eagle chassis is now about done, awaiting wiring. Radiator arrived from re-coring yesterday. A work of art in and of itself.

Absolutely beautiful!

The only suggestion I would make is that the 'block' where the wires come out of the magneto was made of 'Red Fiber" insulating material. It gets painted sort of a reddish brown.

This is a completely different magneto. But shows the insulating block in its true color
