""Views to "Replies" ratio
I cant help to notice that it seems that everyone is so quick to look at questions from other members but no one is so quick to give a darn answer...I thought we were all here to help each other out and not just to glance at peoples questions..I could understand if it was an open forum for all to see, but this is a closed forum with everyone having the common interest. Sorry that I have to speak my mind here..and its just like seeing someone stuck on the side of the road with a broke down car, dont just drive by thinking the next guy will help out..because one day thats gonna be you stuck!

Michael,
This is a public forum which is available to be read by anyone on the Internet, but only registered owners can post messages and replies, so I'm not at all surprised to see a high ratio of viewed posts to replies.
If you look at the "Who Is Online" section at the bottom of the main page, it shows how many Guests and Registered users are viewing the forums at any given time.
When I looked for this post there was me and five Guests...
Adrian.

I saw your question for info regards welds but sadly I hold my hands up and did not answer. To make amends if you go to page 6 on the gallery you can see several photos of the welds on my Tiger.I used masking tape to mask off the width of the weld ,used car body repair filler for weld detail, when dry I used a sharp tool to enhance the detail.Remove the masking tape and a straight weld is reveiled. As for referance I am lucky as I only live 100 miles from Bovy, however I did find useful a book by Wojciech J Gawrych published by Armor PhotoGallery. This book contains 240close up colour photos of the Bovy Tiger and I believe the book is still available in there bookshop.Best of luck.
Regards Jeff Hyder.

All,
I agree with the majority here. I would be happy to share any information that would help out another builder, however I am more the student than the teacher. I read the forums every day, usually dont even log in unless I have something to add, even if it just for the fun of it. I have some great books and pics, but my current location makes it difficult to share scans with the group. I think everyone wants to help.

Michael,
As Adrian says it is an open forum so anyone can view but not all can reply. This said if someone goes to the trouble of posting pictures of their models which provides info to others then it is good to get some replies, they can be offers of encouragement or supplementary questions for those learning and wishing to gain knowledge.
One good way for reference is to buy a known good kit of the model you are building. I have done this for my Sherman, which has helped to check scaling on mods I have made which is difficult from photos. I find photos frustrating a lot of the time as the detail I want is often just out of shot or not clear enough.
