cab on or off?

I now have finished the chassis with the electronics in place and functioning but Is there a shared wisdom as to whether the cab has to be built separately and then fitted on to the chassis or can it be built in situ I do not want to start down either route only to find an impasse half way through the build and have not found a clear answer in spite of studious perusal of the exploded diagrams

Mark has very helpfully advised that the cab has been designed to be built either separately or in situ directly onto the chassis so question answered!
