> Elefant.

My thoughts too

It's only going to be at the Tank Museum for two years, so I guess it's now or never for an Armortek release of it.

Crikey, an all metal Elephant in 1/6 would be very cool.

Speaking for myself, and putting words into David Skeldon's mouth, a Cromwell would be good!

Dear Friends and fellow trainees in the art of patience,

in the Netherlands I have minutes ago uncovered a plot to stir up things about the new limited Armortek model among 1/6th scale tankers aspiring to be think-tankers. Personally I thought of the F1 Renault tank, companion to the Mark 1. Someone suggested a Leopard tank as a companion to the post war Centurion. Then I thought of a Centurion with Hush Puppy Tracks. For a commercial success a Leopard 2 might be interesting as a.o. Australia and Canada and several European countries use this world best tank :) At last year's Tankfest a Leopard 2 of the Netherlands Historical Collection Cavalry was one of the guests. Perhaps an Easy Eight or an Archer Self Propelled 17 Pounder would be it. And there is an interesting notion. The 17 Pounder Antitank Gun needs a towing vehicle. Could that be a customised M5 Tractor? How about an armoured car? The Daimler, Dingo, Humber, Otter are icons in their own right.

A lot of this is or has been wishful thinking. I'm afraid we will have to be patient. Or is it really the Elefant? What a great campaign. Cheers Armortek! :D

Kind regards,
Pieter
