Can anyone help me on this one.

I'm looking to detail the steel wheels on my Late Tiger and need to know the sizes of the various bolts required and also a supplier.
If you take a look at David Gray's picture (IMG_0384) you will see what is required (follow the link below). Excellent job by the way David (if you're reading this, get in touch as you are the man).

hello Mike you can get the nuts and bolts from ekp suppliers

go one the on the armortek owners forum and click on the nuts and bolts topic , and there is a direct link to ekp.

you will need

6BAx3/4 with one size smaller head for the outer wheels

6BA full nuts with one size smaller head for all the wheels

8x6bA threaded rod [ 12" long] for the inner wheels cut into 33mm lengths

1 set of long reach 6BA taps

9BA x3/8 for the locking tabs onthe center hub bolt.s

M3 x12 for the outer bolts on all the wheels

the center bolt is M6x10with the head machined down

G'day Dave
I have never heard of
6BAx3/4 with one size smaller head for the outer wheels

6BA full nuts with one size smaller head for all the wheels

Is this a small scale dimension fond in hobby shops?
I went to our local Nuts and Bolts supplier and they looked at me as if I was nuts
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Tim

Hi Tim , these are standard nuts and bolts , but instead of having

a head size to fit a 6BA spanner they have the next size down

head size of 7BA these look more realistic and ekp supplies do

a range of these look on there web site and you will see these

in there catalouge
