fighting compartment roof

I am sure someone out there will know what the 2 vertical peices are adjacent to the vent on the jagdpanther roof . I would be pleased if they could put me out of my misery and tell me what they are .

there are infact 3, they are for mounting a view finder on a tripod,

Hi Chris , thanks for the info . I can only see 2 on the restored J/P, do you have any idea where the other one was situated. Might as well do it right :)

looking at the picture you posted, the post on the left, if you draw a straight line from that peg to the back r/h corner of the l/h periscope housing it is there, i have a picture but i dont know how to add pictures to these messages.

Hi Chris, yes , i see it now . All 3 are shown in this picture, though its not easy to spot the 3rd one by the periscope .
