Armorpax Pak 43 Update Set

Post by Dave Dibb (Armorpax) »

Hi All,

Spoke to my metal casters today and they expect to complete the metal moulds within the next 3 weeks. I will start casting the resin parts for the first batch at the same time so expect to be able to start shipping update sets in approx. 4 weeks time.

There are considerably more metal parts in this set than the 25 Pounder and Limber and unfortunately the mould and development costs are a lot higher than the previous kits.

Kit price is £229.16 but I do not have an accurate postal weight yet. Postage will of course be at cost as on all our kits.

I am accepting payments now for the kit costs for those who wish to be included in the first run. Postal options and costs will be advised once the first kits are fully packed.

Best regards

Dave

Hi Dave,

Great news to hear about the Pak 43 Update Set.

Could you please put my name down on your list for a set, if I've not sent it before.

Meanwhile I will forward on the Kit price via Paypal.
And the postage can be sorted out later on when you get the postal weights etc.

Regards
Ian

Hi Walter,

I have been taking loads of pics during the build and will have a CD again. I don't have my own walkround of the real deal as I have been using one I found on line but will include a link to it.

Best regards

Hi All,

The initial production batch is now well underway and I would like to thank all those who have pre-ordered. If you have not pre-ordered the kit will go on general release after War and Peace. My metal casters are running the moulds as they complete them to allow us to despatch as soon as possible after the last mould is done. I have included a pic of some of the metal parts so far and also the last 2 days resin casting. I am having to use a resin with a longer pot life as casting over the last few weeks has been interesting with the higher temps. I still hope to complete all the resin parts by the end of the week and then we are just waiting on the final metal moulds.

Best regards

Dave

Hi All,

Its going to be touch and go but if my casters can get me the final mould set to approve on Wednesday and ship Thursday I could have the metal parts with me for Tank Fest. If anyone on the pre-order list (and has paid) is going let me know and you might save the postage!

Best regards

Hello Dave,
Am I right that in the above-shown photo, basically:
the top and central right parts are made of resin (more in white), and
the left and below parts are soft metal (in grey)?

Best Regards,

Lerh Chang :D
