Hi guys simon here, new to the Armortek forum.
Just had the good news from Gill that my Tiger-1 is on route to the house, it's been a long time in waiting, but finally on the way, this is a first for me to build such a thing and gotta say I just can't wait.
Question is that I have to any of you Armortek build veterans out there, what's the best tools needed types and sizes required for this build, I live in Thailand and will probably have to order every thing on line, I can only imagine all tools required are for micro nut, bolts, screws and fittings.
Can anyone recommend for me the best kit to get for the job, before I get on to eBay and order a lot of non required stuff that I didn't need.
Looking forward to your advise.
Cheers
Simon

Hi, Simon, hope you get as much pleasure out of your Armortek model as all the rest of us have. Don't be at all shy about asking questions on the Forum, this is one of the most helpful and (usually) courteous communities online.
We've established a whole section of shared wisdom to get the best out of your kit under the Knowledge Base section. Your specific question is answered here:

You might like to trawl through some of the other topics, particularly those headed Basic, which are intended to help build from the box.
All the best
Stephen

Out of the box you get away with very basic tools. For painting though make sure all parts cleaned and degreased. Coat parts with etch primer once happy with the fit. The mask is advisable for both painting and anything making dust such as grinding. Should go together nicely.
If interested in any parts used in my builds contact me at johnfitzsimons@msn.com for a price list.
