25 pounder first build

Post by stephen smith »

Have just started. Kit I've had for a year. Originally was going to make it with my father, but he's been to unwell to travel (I live in Sweden) so have started it and will give it to my dad once finished. His father was a gunner on one of these during WW2 so kind of a good pressie for him.
Anyway back to the kit.
Really stupid question on building the wheels the part CL220 and the hex bolt that go with it are they loose in inside the wheel (between the wheel bearing and end cap). Doesn't seem right ?

Thanks

Steve

Good evening Stephen,

I'm half way through mine and found it to be a fantastic build with plenty of opportunity for adding extra details, such as the Armorpax kit. I hope you enjoy this build.

Regards

Dave

Hi Steve,

Its nice to see you posting on here :D So now you have thrown the covers over your two Honda's for winter, you have started building. I know you will enjoy it!

There is no such thing as a stupid question, although reading the manual first might help  we've all done it at some point

Looking forward to seeing you progress this build, have you bought Dave's (Armorpax) extra detailed parts??

Paul.
