Cotswold Steam and Vintage Extravaganza

Post by Steve Stuart »

This year I finally was able to join Greg Wickes at his invitation to attend this event.
Fiona and I enjoyed the day, there was a lot to see and I saw a fraction and Fiona not being kept to one place saw far more!

We were the centre of much interest and the people at the show were very friendly, luckily Adrian was able to provide extra activity!

I recommend visiting this Show as a punter, but better still if Greg needs people, bringing a Tank or two, plus spouses, I feel, would find enough that is not Tanks to make for a good day out as well!

Yes, two blown fuses in one day

Luckily Steve managed to find a stand selling them and bought me some spares

Greg was actually there, though we both seem to have missed getting him in shot

Lots of interest, from the "ere Mister, can I have a go ?" to ex-army types, most of whom seemed to have served in Centurions, so I'm sure a Cent next year would be a crowd pleaser.

Adrian.
