help with UNC 2-56 taps in the UK

Post by Paul Wills »

Can anyone tell me who sells good quality UNC 2-56 taps in the UK, I can't seem to find any, I can find the multi packs which I already have, however the 2-56 snapped  and they are not good quality steel.

Thanks Paul  .

hi paul

have you tried speedwells, in preston, ace for toools ect, brother inlaw was a horizontal borer at Rockwell International making printing presses. He has a lot of experience in the massive laithes, milling machines and autocad etc. Now he is programming at BAE. He has always recommended Speedwells. It may be worth a shot. They are in Meadow Street, Preston
Thanks Richie
