Important - Limber Brake handle

Post by Dave Dibb (Armorpax) »

Hi All,

The top section of the Limber brake handle is bent outwards as per the original as otherwise it would be too close to the body to use, DO NOT TRY AND STRAIGHTEN IT OUT as this will result in a broken handle.

I have added a pic showing the straight lever from the 25 pdr and the angled head on the Limber one.

Best regards

Dave

Hi Dave,

I tried to straighten out the brake handle and broke it!…..I thought it looked bent to me!….sorry my fault I was not thinking it had to be bent outwards to clear the body!
I will need to buy another one from you to add to the limber kit oversight parts, whenever they are ready too!

Best regards

Ian

Hello John....worry not, it happens to some of us at one time or another. Two days ago, I patiently riveted a number of brackets to the trail arms of the 25PDR, only to realise when finished, that I had the trail arms up side down...... Mick
