Centurion production line at Bovington.

Post by Dennis Jones »

They have started installing the original production line equipment in one of the halls at Bovington. They have cleared the area forward of the Cent that is cut in half (including the helicopters and the Tortoise) and that's where it's all going. I will take some photos next time we are down there.

Some photos from the new Tank Factory at Bovington Museum. I have to admit I was not that impressed with the new display, I was expecting more tools etc. The drawing office was quite good with drawings of tanks on the table and in the cabinet. The suspended turret by the way is fibreglass.
