Armorpax 25 Pdr Limber update set - taking orders

Hi All,

I have almost completed the resin gang moulds and the final sets of production moulds are being made by my metal casters. We will start production very soon.

There is a much greater development cost in the Limber kit due to the larger quantity (and need) of metal parts and this is reflected in the kit price.

The Update set including 2 shell trays, 4 Shell Cases, 2 HE Shells, 1 Star Shell, I AP Shell and 1 Smoke Shell is £135.48. Post and packing will be extra and we will advise shipping costs and options once we have a fully packed kit and know its weight.

Metal brake handles for the 25 Pdr gun are going to be £6.00 each + p&p. British Tow hitch assembly will be £12.00 + p&p for Quads etc. (It is included in the Limber kit). The wheel rings will be £3.50 + p+p (They are also included in the Limber kit.

I will let everyone know on this thread once we are ready to start processing orders.

Hi All,

We are now taking orders for the new Limber update kit. We will be ready to start production straight after Christnas so the orders we receive between now and the 24th, when we close the order books for this year, will form the first production run.

I would expect the first batch to ship around 3rd or 4th week of January.

UK SD £8.45
Europe Tracked and Insured £15.55
USA and rest of the world Tracked and Insured £20.35

In addition

Casting for of the new update set for the Armortek limber has been on going for the last 2 weeks and we are just about to start casting the last batch of moulds. White metal parts came in this week and we expect to start shipping the first kits by the end of this coming week.

Just to let you know my Limber kit arrived safely Saturday a.m. it looks a great set, many thanks, especially the information CD. Did you do one for the 25 pounder? It is an asset. I am looking forward to getting started, unfortunately starting means going backwards for a bit before going forward. Do you have a profile shape for the limber door hinges? They look pretty delicate and I don't want to take off more than necessary to get the correct profile for the doors to open fully. If you could post a photo with dimensions showing where to remove metal that would be a great help.

Hi Ian,

As most of th walk rounds I used for the 25 Pounder were on here by others I did not copy them on to a CD. We did do a gun parts fitting reference thread same as the CD one for the Limber which is here http://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewt ... f=4&t=4920

The hinges were just filed back until the doors opened fully to the stops. I will try and do something on them in the week.

Just another tip I forgot to put in the guide is that the door stop long pins I felt were a little thin so I used K&S aluminium tube and sleeved them between the top and bottom arms. I think from memory it was around 4mm tube but whichever it was it slid over perfectly.
