Hello Denny.

Just read your post and looked up the collection seems like a good reason for a few days out I thought :D then looked it up on the rout planner ... ... ... 303.7 miles 5 hr's 23 minutes, one way of course :( why cant our southern play mates ever come up in this direction for a run about? .. and don't start your reply with its grim up north! more bracing :D .
Have a good time lads.
Cheers Paul.

We went there on one of our Devon soirées. They used to have a beaten up M4A4 Sherman at the side of the car park.

The museum itself is a rambling mess of bits and pieces. From memory, there was a scout car in there, plus lots of artillery. The Mrs liked all the individual stories linked to the exhibits. Probably the military museum she's enjoyed the most :D

I'll see if she fancies a revisit.

I live in the South, and it's still 175 miles from me

Adrian.
