Re: Cobbaton combat collection
Hello Denny.
Just read your post and looked up the collection seems like a good reason for a few days out I thought then looked it up on the rout planner ... ... ... 303.7 miles 5 hr's 23 minutes, one way of course why cant our southern play mates ever come up in this direction for a run about? .. and don't start your reply with its grim up north! more bracing .
Have a good time lads.
Cheers Paul.

Re: Cobbaton combat collection
We went there on one of our Devon soirées. They used to have a beaten up M4A4 Sherman at the side of the car park.
The museum itself is a rambling mess of bits and pieces. From memory, there was a scout car in there, plus lots of artillery. The Mrs liked all the individual stories linked to the exhibits. Probably the military museum she's enjoyed the most
I'll see if she fancies a revisit.
I live in the South, and it's still 175 miles from me
Adrian.
