Thanks to Gill and Mark for a great day at Bovvy yesterday. The damp conditions prompted a lot of indoor interest around the Armortek stand and lots of admiration for Paul's Mk IV in the new Warhorse to Horsepower exhibition. If you haven't seen Paul's paint job, it's quite outstanding and it was drawing a lot of attention. The heavily rusted tracks were novel though, not something I've ever seen on an operational tank but very fashionable, nevertheless.

Thanks very much for your comments much appreciated, it was fun to do and something different, I had hoped to be at Tiger day this year and say hello but its a long haul down for us and not long since the tank was dropped off, maybe next year.
The tracks came out well I thought I know what you mean but I just did as I was asked, anyone buying a MK4 and fancy doing the tracks like that its just cement stain remover sprayed onto the bare steel track.
Cheers for now Paul.
This is the only photo that I have that is different from others that have appeared.... It may have been a damp day but it was another good event, many thanks to Mark and Gill for making it happen!
It was good to meet Gill and Mark again at the Tiger day and many thanks to Mark for running the MkIV for me. I made the trip, which was almost a 400 miles there and back specifically to check out the MKIV and was very impressed with both models there. A fantastic job has been done by Paul on the one in the warhorse exhibition, the tracks and finish are excellent. The mistake I made was taking my wife with me as unbeknown to me she was asking prices of the 25 pdr that I bought at our meet last year and prices for the MKIV. Got a bit of work to do over the next weeks as I was hoping to add a MKIV to my stable. We will have to see. It was a great day sadly raining just when the outside display started and was much enjoyed by three generations of my familly.
