To all who may be interested, there is a WW2 weekend held on 2nd and 3rd August at Heywood near Oldham. The owner of the site has a few tanks ,(full size) and last year there was rides in tanks and APCs, a fun fair, vintage cars and motorbikes, stalls selling militaria,a few armortek tanks and a half track, as well as some scratch built models, people dressed in WW2 uniforms. A fun day out for all the family. You can camp overnight if you want.Armortek and other owners are welcome to do some running around with their tanks to entertain the public.
Google Heywood WW2 event if interested or send me a message and I'll give you details.
Cheers

Hi Dunc,
Isn't it just outside Rochdale? Not sure if you got my reply to your email about this. It's not looking like I will be able to make it for this one mate, too many things on around that time.
Cheers, Paul.
