Post by Ray Brown »

g'day guys,

has anyone had their centurion sound change? the start up & idle is fine as is the cut off but acceleration forward & reverse sounds tinny. can the sound card be reset or re-loaded? i'll try to upload a clip.

thanks

Although there are various things you can change on the Benedini sound card, I don't believe there are any which would affect the sounds themselves.

There are bass and treble controls on the TBS5 card itself.

They are shown on Page 5 of this manual:

http://www.benedini.de/Home_E/Products_E/TBS5E_4b.pdf

Could it be that one of these has failed, either the bass has gone to minimum, or the treble has gone to maximum ?

It would also be worth checking the speakers themselves, as a failure on part of them could leave you with tinny sound.

I don't know why any of the above would just affect the driving sounds. Maybe they are more bassy, hence the change is more noticeable ?

Adrian.
