Hi all
I have just purchased a Futaba 7c with which to operate my newly acquired mid Tiger 1. Could anybody please give me some help on set up, as a mechanical engineer this is way out of my comfort zone, so any help will be greatly appreciated. I would like to drive the tank on one stick.
Thank you
William

Re: Tiger 1 radio control
Hi William
Mark put somw good instructions on the Forum for 1 stick control.
I think you will find it in the Armorteck owners section, might be a few pages back so
have a good luck.
It would be well worth having a good read throgh the Futaba manual and have a browse
through all the menues to familiarise your self with all the names, terms and layout,
especialy the switches and menu's.
It will help when you com to set up your radio with Mark's instructions and the others
in the manuals.
Cheers
Phil

Re: Tiger 1 radio control
Perhaps this is of help..
How do I control the tank on one stick?
You can use *single* *stick* control with the new modules. The easiest way to do it on the Futaba radios is by using elevon mixing. This mixes channels 1 and 2 on the transmitter and allows you to drive using the right hand *stick* only. There is no need to change the ratchet to a spring for left *stick* when using this function. This makes driving in straight line much easier and has the added advantage that you can drive your tank whilst drinking a cup of tea at the same time. What more could you ask for!
