Late Tiger tracks

Hello everone,
I have encountered a problem fitting the tracks to the drive sprocket. When the teeth of the outside sprocket ring are seated in the track, there is a small perpendicular tab on the inside of the track that prevents seating on the inside sprocket ring. This, of course, creates a problem.

I could file down the tab on the inside of each track. That's certainly a lot of work that should /could have been handled during the production process. Therefore, there is probably another solution, but it escapes me.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Kirk

Hello Kirk

It sounds like you have your spockets inside out giveing you a larger dimention.

Hi Lee,
Thanks for replying. According to the directions, the drive sprocket and sprocket rings are mounted correctly. The tracks won't fit. It could be that the inside of the sprocket rings which mount to the sprocket are not cut deep enough, but no one else seems to be having the problem.

Hello Kirk

The machined recess on the sprocket rings face outwards on both sides of the sprocket. Have a look at Armortek's prototype tiger photos in the gallery. Hope that helps.

Hi David,
That may be the solution. I have the machined recesses on the sprocket rings facing the sprocket.

Thanks,
