Hi all

Be very careful of using A2 stainless steel fasteners like these. They are very low tensile strength and can not be used for any load bearing task. OK for decorative and detail parts. Never use on gear cases, they will fail.

Hi Edvard
You could try my supplier of nut`s& bolt`s.
It is MVD Modellbauschrauben. They have 2,5mm x 15mm steel. They have high head (for steam engine) and low head who is the one`s I use on my build.
adress:www.modellbauschrauben.de At the top right you will find a small vindow with
"sprache" scroll down and choose english, and off you go.
I hope this is what you are looking for.
Ragnar.
PS. all bolts on my Tiger I build with hex head are from this supplier

hello Edward,
here in the uk there is a company called EKP supplies web site www.ekpsupplies.co.uk,
they sell steel BA sized bolts which I think the size you want is 7ba x 3/4, they make 2 different size heads as well standard or a size smaller head sometimes better for us modellers, have a look on there web site and see what's best for you, there not cheap at around £12 for 100 plus postage and don't forget you will need the nuts to suit, if you want to go with this company and they wont post outside the uk let me know and we can sort something out.
hope this helps, Chris.

I am away from home for a couple of weeks but have a good supply of the ekp standard 7ba hex heads.
What do you need them for? I also have some hex heads from micro fasteners, US based. Might be able to give a size comparison.

Try www.pts-uk.com as they do a huge range of stainless fasteners including split pins, hex bolts etc. I have used them for a while and they are a good supplier.
