Hi guys,
Below the pictures of Gerrit's Tiger illustrating the problem with the righthand track/sprocket.
Frontview of the RH sprocket
Sideview of the RH sprocket
Sideview of the total LH side

Any suggestions of the cause ?

Re: Testride Tiger I/45 Late and season greetings.
I suggest chamfering the sides of the sprocket teeth. If they are already chamfered - chamfer some more. It will prevent the track from climbing. Also, make sure that the road wheels sit the same distance from the hull on both sides, since any error in mounting them will effectively steer the track to the side - oh, and the sprocket to hull distance too of course. Lastly, experiment with track tension. My experience is that too loose will make the sprocket skip, whereas too tight will make the track climb. Interesting phenomenon!
Good luck!

Hi Garrit,
I too have suffered the wrath of track on my T1. I noticed the left side higher than the right. I therefore will be stripping the tank down and re-calibrating road wheel angles and setting the hull level again.
Cheers Ray.

Re: Testride Tiger I/45 Late and season greetings.
Hi Gerrit.
Get the tank back into your workshop and get the tank jacked off the floor so the tracks are clear of the ground, now remove the sprocket caps and slacken off the taper lock bushes in the sprockets .. .. you will need to losen them off and then slightly tighten them back up .. .. now VERY SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY .... start to turn the tracks one at a time if you have the taper locks just right the motion of the track will make the bush self locate in the correct position or as near as dam it .... but you MUST DO THIS SLOWLY!
Once you have the taper locks set just about right you can tighten them down, but remember the tightening of the lock will move the sprocket slightly you must account for this in your final tighten up.
Hope tis helps, remember slowly does it!
Kind regards Paul.
